For our Aged Care Support Specialists, this occurs with every client and during every shift. It requires a unique individual to be a Care Specialist and assist the elderly members of our community. We are seeking that special person to become part of the KinCare family.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Domestic Assistance: Maintaining a clean and safe home environment for elderly individuals. Assisting clients with meal preparation and grocery shopping. Offering social support and facilitating access to lifestyle activities. Providing personal care, including helping clients with daily routines, medication management, mobility assistance, and therapy goals. Delivering respite and emotional support. Offering social support and transportation to appointments. Providing specialized care for clients with complex needs, such as dementia.

What qualities do we seek in a Care Specialist?

A genuine passion for assisting the elderly community to live independently at home for longer. A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is an integral part of the role. The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, understanding that some days may be tougher than others. Availability to work at least 3 days a week - Monday to Friday. No night or weekend shifts required. Comfort in working independently and solving everyday challenges, knowing when to seek assistance from your Manager.
