Aged Care Support Specialist - Brisbane North - Part-Time - Experienced

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Domestic Assistance: Ensuring a clean and safe living environment for our clients.
  • Meal Preparation: Assisting clients with cooking and grocery shopping.
  • Social Support: Facilitating access to lifestyle activities and providing companionship.
  • Personal Care: Helping clients with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Emotional Support: Offering respite and understanding to clients and their families.
  • Transportation: Assisting clients with travel to appointments and social events.
  • Complex Care: Providing specialized support for clients with higher care needs, including those with dementia.

What We Look For:

  • A genuine passion for assisting the elderly to maintain their independence at home.
  • A valid Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, as travel is part of the role.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Availability to work at least three days a week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend shifts.
  • Comfort in working independently while knowing when to seek assistance from management.
