Make a Meaningful Difference in Healthcare

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating quality care for residents. Reporting to the Facility Manager, you'll have the opportunity to lead and inspire junior staff while ensuring care plans are tailored to the unique needs of each resident.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and teamwork skills, with experience managing care teams and driving results. They will also have excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – to effectively engage with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, update care plans, and make appropriate referrals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with residents to ensure care reflects their personal preferences, values, and goals.
  • Lead and monitor care delivery to meet Aged Care Quality Standards, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Support and mentor junior staff, including Enrolled Nurses, to foster growth and development within the team.
  • Ensure residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met, including personal care, medication administration, nutrition, mobility, and comfort.
Requirements:
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Knowledge of the aged care sector and relevant standards (desirable).
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with experience managing care teams and driving results.
  • Experience in client assessments and developing person-centered care plans that reflect individual needs and preferences.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – to effectively engage with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
