About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Office Coordinator to join our Eagle Farm, QLD office. As a key member of the Health Safety and Environment Operations team, you will provide administrative support to the Sime Darby Berhad (SDB) Executive Manager of HSE Operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing safety and sustainability reports, presentations, and papers that drive meaningful change
  • Coordinating travel, accommodations, and entertainment for our team, ensuring smooth operations
  • Managing correspondence effectively, providing timely responses and maintaining confidentiality
  • Coordinating and administering various Safety & Sustainability administrative tasks as required
  • Managing the flow of incoming and outgoing correspondence and initiating follow-up actions where necessary
  • Organising and facilitating meetings, including video conferences, and recording and preparing minutes when required

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years experience working in an administrative role within a large organisation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant systems to streamline operations
  • Ability to engage stakeholders with confidence, professionalism, and a commitment to exceptional service
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to convey ideas clearly
  • Knowledge of Safety and Sustainability policies and procedures (desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (desirable)
