**Key Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Behaviour Support Team Leader to join our leadership team in Brisbane.

**About the Role:**

The successful candidate will have a degree qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Developmental Education, Counselling or a similar field, with significant experience in mentoring behaviour support practitioners and peer reviewing behaviour support plans.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Guide and mentor a team of behaviour support practitioners to deliver high-quality services.
  • Review positive behaviour support plans with the support of a senior colleague.
  • Encourage collaboration and a team-oriented approach to evaluating service delivery.
  • Monitor team goals and objectives throughout the year and participate in regular performance reviews.
  • Develop partnerships with service providers and community agencies to achieve the best outcomes for participants.
  • Provide expert advice on evidence-based approaches to reduce challenging behaviours.
