As a seasoned fashion professional, we are seeking a talented Fashion Designer to take the lead in creating visually stunning and commercially successful collections.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of current and emerging fashion trends, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate design concepts into captivating visual experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and forecast seasonal trends, ensuring our brand remains ahead of the curve in terms of style and aesthetic

- Develop mood boards and range plans that align with our brand's unique identity and vision

- Conduct trend, colour and fabrication research to inform design decisions, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop on-brand collections, ensuring seamless communication and execution

- Create initial CAD designs, produce design pages and communicate construction methods to factories, streamlining the production process

- Monitor new developments in critical path weekly, adapting quickly to changes and opportunities

Requirements:

- Tertiary qualifications in fashion design or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in creative principles and technical skills

- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as Microsoft Excel, enabling efficient workflow and data analysis

- Proven experience in developing high-quality CAD designs, with a portfolio showcasing exceptional creativity and attention to detail

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, coupled with a passion for innovation and excellence

- In-depth knowledge of fashion trends and trend forecasting, allowing for informed decision-making and strategic planning
