Job Overview

The role of a SIAM Program Lead is pivotal in leading complex, hybrid SIAM service delivery programs within Defence. This position requires expertise in Service Integration and Management (SIAM) to provide governance in a complex structure, drive strategic transformation initiatives, ensure seamless integration across service providers, and deliver measurable outcomes aligned with business and customer objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, aligning scope, timelines, and resources with strategic business objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale hybrid SIAM Service delivery and managed service.
  • Lead transformation initiatives to uplift SIAM services.
  • Define and manage program scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Implement and manage SIAM frameworks to manage multi-supplier environments.
  • Establish governance models, service integration processes, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure alignment between retained IT, service providers, and business units.
  • Facilitate executive steering committees and program boards.
  • Monitor service performance, SLAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive incident, problem, and change management across integrated services.
  • Drive service excellence by identifying opportunities for innovation, process optimization, and capability uplift across the delivery ecosystem.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, and security requirements, particularly in public sector or defence contexts.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and security requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Current minimum NV1 clearance, and Australian Citizenship.
  • 10+ years in program or portfolio management within IT services or consulting.
  • Proven experience delivering SIAM-based service models in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, COBIT, and service management best practices.
  • Experience working with Defence.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Expert, SIAM Foundation/Professional, PMP/Prince2) preferred.
