Job Title: Fitter Welder

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks on various materials to construct and repair components for water-related systems and equipment.
  • Assemble, install, and maintain machinery and systems according to technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Carry out fitting and welding work on pipelines, tanks, valves, and associated water system components.
  • Inspect and test fabricated parts for quality and compliance with required standards.
  • Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools to ensure proper function and safety.
  • Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Fitter Welder, preferably in a water or industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
  • Experience with the assembly and maintenance of mechanical systems and water-related equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety standards in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
