Talent World is seeking a skilled metal fabricator to join our team.

About the Position

Key Responsibilities :

  • Interpret detailed engineering drawings and bring ideas to life.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components from stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel.
  • Select, clean, and prepare metal stock for fabrication.
  • Cut marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches, and metal cutting machines.
  • Perform MIG (and TIG preferred) welding in all positions, ensuring high-quality welds.
  • Examine welds for bead width, penetration, and precision, ensuring standards are met.
  • Finish products by cleaning, polishing, filing, and bathing in acidic solutions.
  • Clean and smooth welds by filing, chiselling, and grinding.
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify defects.
  • Operate fabrication machinery and tools.
  • Assist with site installations as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, organized workshop environment.

About You :

  • You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in metal fabrication (including welding).
  • Strong MIG welding skills; TIG experience in aluminium and stainless steel is highly desirable.
  • You should be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
