Operations Supervisor Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Supervisor to lead our team and drive success. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

This role is perfect for individuals with experience in environmental/operations management, who possess strong leadership skills and can motivate and manage teams effectively.

Job Description:

The Operations Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day activities of our drivers, ensuring that they meet all performance criteria. This includes supervising drivers during rostered hours, after-hours, and weekends, as well as implementing productivity improvements to meet agreed targets.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring accurate operation of all on-board systems, recording fatigue breaks and productivity information, and collecting completed run sheets and VCRs at the end of every shift.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in environmental/operations management
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computing skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Intermediate to advanced level of aptitude in Word and Excel
  • Formal leadership/supervisor training
  • Industrial relations training
