**Data Science Expert Wanted:**

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Canberra. This is a long-term contract opportunity with remote work considerations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain and develop data systems to support strategic objectives, including scoping and development of relevant data sources and building data models.
  • Develop and maintain AI tools to support policy analysis, including summarisation and analysis of open-source material.
  • Provide other data services relevant to the objectives of the Southeast Asia Data Analytics Section as required.

**Technical Skills:**

Microsoft Excel, R, Python, SQL, AI APIs/libraries (e.g., Azure, OpenAI).

**Requirements:**

  • Australian Citizen with active NV1 or NV2 security clearance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and developing data systems, AI tool development, and data analysis.
