We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Technician to perform various tasks related to custom DC UPS cabinets. As a critical team member, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing and commissioning these systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wiring and assembling industrial DC power cabinets to meet custom specifications
  • Installing UPS, battery banks and AC/DC/DC conversion equipment
  • Interpreting electrical schematics, layout diagrams and scopes of work
  • Conducting quality checks and functional testing to ensure high standards
  • Collaborating with engineers, project managers and production teams to achieve goals

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Certificate III or higher in Electrotechnology or Electrical Fitting
  • Experience working with DC systems or industrial switchboards/cabinets
  • Ability to read and interpret complex wiring diagrams
  • Hands-on skills including tools, test equipment and soldering
  • Attention to detail to ensure precision and accuracy
  • A valid forklift ticket is a bonus but not a requirement
