Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Coordinator to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery and coordination of design projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively monitor and evaluate the work of designers allocated to the project to ensure their progress meets requirements.
  • Assist in the design approval process by coordinating issue resolution and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Design Manager to optimize project resourcing and ensure efficient workflows.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Oversee the work and performance of subcontractors with design responsibility, promoting high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Building, Construction, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying is required.
  • At least 3 years' experience in tendering project delivery and multi-discipline project management is essential.
  • Desirable qualifications include awareness of people management processes and knowledge of project management structures, plans, specifications, standards, and implications for project accountabilities.
