Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Coordinator to join our team at Southern Cross Support Services. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, as well as providing essential support to the wider organisation.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the success of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing accounts receivable, including invoicing using industry-specific software;
  • Collecting debtors and managing debt recovery processes;
  • Processing accounts payable, including invoice data entry and reconciliations;
  • Managing bank accounts and credit card transactions, including coding and reconciliations using a corporate credit card software platform;
  • Monitoring customer budget funding requests and processing payments;
  • Reviewing cost centre allocations and generating intercompany recharge invoices;
  • Providing administrative support for all bank account and credit card reconciliation requirements;
  • Efficiently processing repair and insurance claims in accordance with policies and procedures;
  • Analysing data and generating KPI reports as required;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • General bookkeeping skills and experience (highly regarded);
  • Demonstrated experience using MYOB or similar finance software (highly regarded);
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and web-based applications;
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment;
  • Exceptional time-management and organisational skills;
  • Highly proactive, accurate, and detail-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making skills;
  • A current Working with Children Blue Card (or eligibility to apply).
