About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Firefighting Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating firefighting operations, ensuring the safety of people and property across Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a member of a team, respond to fire and other emergency incidents in a safe and effective manner.
  • Promote community safety and emergency preparedness by contributing to community education activities.
  • Develop and maintain competencies by actively participating in regular drills and other relevant training courses provided by the QFES.
  • Maintain the required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
  • Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.

Requirements

  • Australian Permanent Resident Status.
  • Manual C Class driver's licence.
  • Able to attend 50% of calls as a day worker with routine hours, or 30% of calls as a shift worker with non-routine hours.

What We Offer

  • An estimated annual salary of $65,000 - $80,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
