Role Overview:

This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to join a talented team that crafts and delivers exceptional entertainment content across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Position:

The Content Scheduling Executive plays a key role in executing day-to-day scheduling for Disney+ Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while aligning with business objectives. This position also actively contributes to the development of content planning strategies to maximize our diverse content slate and ensure that content priorities are effectively implemented.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary scheduler for Disney+ programming, utilizing the Disney+ Scheduling tool
  • Become an expert in the Disney+ Scheduling tool and train new users as required
  • Maintain the flow of coming soon pages available and schedule them once available
  • Review weekly/monthly reports of scheduled content to ensure accuracy, and utilize the data across other lines of business such as PR, Social etc
  • Collaborate closely with the Programming and Content Curation Manager on optimizing the content slate across our portfolio of content pipelines.
  • Support cross-line of business communication, including briefing monthly content highlights, briefing PR highlights, and organizing internal staff screenings of major content releases.
Key Requirements:
  • 2 years' experience in content scheduling, preferably in digital media and entertainment
  • SVOD experience is highly desirable
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proven commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency and direct experience with scheduling tools, ideally What's On
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Docs, and other relevant software tools; ability to quickly learn or adapt to new tools as needed
  • Passion and insight into The Walt Disney Company brands and franchises
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and constantly evolving organizations, and thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure working environment
