Electricity Network Technician

This is an exciting opportunity for an Electricity Network Technician on a permanent full-time basis at our brand-new South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, Western Australia.
Our state-of-the-art facility offers modern infrastructure and technology to empower all employees.
You will be required to construct and maintain the transmission and/or distribution electricity network in a team environment to maintain its integrity, ensuring an uninterrupted supply to customers and adhering to applicable guidelines and regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Rectifying faults promptly and isolating the network for repairs to maintain its integrity and minimize customer impact
- Executing programmed construction and maintenance work to ensure safe, reliable, and affordable operation of the network
- Constructing network infrastructure according to design specifications and construction standards, dealing with day-to-day technical issues
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
- Certificate III in ESI – Power System Distribution Overhead (essential)
- Valid WA 'C' Class Drivers Licence
- Valid WA 'HR' Class Drivers Licence (preferred, not essential)
- Demonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of the distribution electricity network
- HOU and LOU Switching, Glove and Barrier (highly regarded, but not essential)
