We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and connections, in accordance with National Electric Code (NEC) and industry standards.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout and installation requirements for electrical systems.
- Use power tools and hand tools to build and repair electrical components, including industrial electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
- Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and ammeter to identify electrical faults and make necessary repairs.
- Work safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to ensure all electrical systems are properly installed, maintained, and repaired.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and industrial electrical applications.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in the use of power tools and hand tools.
- Experience with low-voltage electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and safety protocols.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Certification as an industrial electrician or 3 years relevant industry experience.
- Experience with frame carpentry and construction techniques.
- Ability to use an ohmmeter and ammeter to identify electrical faults and make necessary repairs.
