About the Role
We are currently seeking a Solicitor to enhance our esteemed Energy and Infrastructure practice in Sydney. This role presents an opportunity to collaborate with distinguished partners and a dedicated team of specialists.
The Energy and Infrastructure sector is pivotal to our strategic growth initiatives. You will engage in groundbreaking projects and work with clients who are leading the charge in energy transition and infrastructure investment.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at supporting both national and international clients, including:
- Providing legal advice on mergers and acquisitions, project development, joint ventures, regulatory compliance, and intricate commercial agreements within the energy and infrastructure domains.
- Participating in significant infrastructure transactions across various sectors, including airports, ports, roads, rail, digital, energy, and social infrastructure.
- Engaging with clients involved in transformative changes within the Australian energy landscape, such as renewable energy zones and innovative projects in offshore wind and hydrogen.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Demonstrable experience in M&A, project development, regulatory matters, and complex commercial agreements, regardless of industry.
