The Opportunity
We are seeking a Solicitor to join our market-leading Energy and Infrastructure team based in Sydney. In this role, you will work closely with leading partners and specialists across our national practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake a range of work that supports national and international clients, including advising on mergers & acquisitions, project development, joint ventures, policy & regulation, and complex commercial contracting in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Work on 'first in market' projects and with clients who are at the forefront of the energy transition and private capital in the infrastructure sector.
- Collaborate with a dynamic, energetic, and fun team environment.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience across any of M&A, project development, policy and regulation, and complex commercial contracting.
- An excellent academic record coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset.
- A proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of our leading and supportive team.
- An ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team.
- A keen interest in the energy and infrastructure sectors with a hunger to learn and develop and be part of maintaining a market-leading practice.
