About the Piping Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Specialist to join our Project Delivery Group in Melbourne.

As a Piping Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting project kickoff meetings and site visits as required. You will also assist in interpreting plant process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and plant battery limits and constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project kickoff meetings and site visits as required
  • Assist in interpreting plant process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and plant battery limits and constraints
  • Coordinate with client representatives in all matters related to plant layout optimization
  • Responsible for developing facility layouts within the plant to enable each functional group to effectively begin their design
  • Perform piping design activities through all phases of the project, from conceptual study through to detailed design and deliverable production
  • Review, coordinate, and obtain approval for all layout changes

You Will Bring to the Role:

  • LAYOUT experience on major multi-discipline projects
  • Good understanding of maintainability, constructability, safety, and operating issues related to equipment
  • Strong ability to analyze consequences of layout changes and prioritize best solutions as design progresses
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage individuals to attain quality, cost, and schedule objectives
