**Job Overview**

The Group Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of food products across multiple production sites. They will lead the development and implementation of quality management systems, monitor production processes, and ensure compliance with food safety standards, regulations, and customer requirements.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Developing and implementing quality management systems to ensure product safety and quality.
  • Monitoring production processes at various sites throughout the entire supply chain to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Ensuring that all products and processes comply with food safety regulations, customer specifications, and internal quality standards.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of quality assurance professionals, providing training, and fostering a culture of quality and food safety.
  • Conducting audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement in quality and food safety practices across all sites in our supply chain.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.

* Proven experience in quality management within the food industry, including experience with relevant standards (e.g., BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, SQF, ISO).

* Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

* Attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and quality.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

* Ability to travel to sites.

**What You Should Know About Our Operations:**

Our business is widespread, growing walnuts, almonds and bees in the Riverina Region in New South Wales, pecans in Moree and macadamias, avocados and mangoes in Bundaberg, Queensland.

Off the paddock, we operate nut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba and Bundaberg as well as fruit packing and processing in Bundaberg.

In addition, our shared services teams (Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety and People & Culture) are located across all of our sites as well as the Brisbane, Melbourne and Griffith offices.
