About the Role
This is a pivotal customer contact role in a customer-focused, time-critical working environment. As a Building Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for proactively managing customer expectations by ensuring they are regularly updated on the status of their home during the building process.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage customer expectations by ensuring clients are regularly updated on the status of their home during the building process.
- Effectively communicate and maintain the professional link between Metricon clients and site personnel to ensure feedback and resolution.
- Maintain customer files with relevant contract, variations, and other required documentation.
- Create workflow, complete tasks as they arise, and provide all relevant documentation.
- Confirm with Site Manager that inspections are complete in order to achieve occupancy permits.
- Coordinate the installation of gas lines/meters with authorities using CPT reports.
- Ensure all information kept in the database is correct and up-to-date (client details).
- Complete and manage data entry and report compilation.
- Maintain and constantly develop thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services, and processes.

Requirements
- Experience in a customer-focused role with conflict and problem management focus.
- Able to read plans and knowledge of contracts an advantage or built a home before.
- Proven ability to work in a pivotal customer contact role in a customer-focused, time-critical working environment.
- Highly organized – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work in a positive and professional manner in a goal-oriented environment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook computer skills.
- Some experience in using database systems is an added advantage.
