Senior Building Services Coordinator

Job Summary
BESIX Watpac is seeking an experienced Services Manager to oversee the design, coordination, installation, and commissioning of building services on a large-scale project in NSW.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Driving company safety policies, practices, and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.
- Managing the design of Building Services documentation packages across the project, including Mechanical, Electrical, Security, ICT, and Hydraulic.
- Collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure that the developing documentation meets the required specification, cost budgets, and program for construction works.
- Overseeing the coordination and review of all documentation for adequacy of design input.
- Participating in the selection of subcontractors.
- Monitoring progress and quality of services installation and commissioning, and participating in the final handover of the project.
Requirements
The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:
- Qualifications in a relevant Engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic services) together with solid industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects, managing complex building services packages (mechanical, electrical, communication/ICT/BMS, and hydraulic).
- Experience managing complex integrated systems.
- Experience with the installation, maintenance, and testing of essential and advanced building services, including Mechanical, Electrical, Security & ICT, as well as Hydraulic.
- Sound understanding and application of statutory legislation, including knowledge of the OHS Act, Building Code of Australia, and relevant services Australian Standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills through the development of effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
