Procurement Specialist Opportunity

This prominent public organization in Perth seeks a Procurement Specialist to provide expert advice and support for procurement activities across various projects and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies, tender evaluation plans and reports, and contract management plans
  • Preparing and issuing tender and contract documentation
  • Conducting tender exercises, bid analysis, post-tender clarification and negotiation, and contract award
  • Managing contract administration functions, such as validating insurance requirements and obtaining security deposits
  • Monitoring and reporting on contract performance and identifying and resolving issues
Requirements:
  • A degree in procurement, business, law or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Substantial experience in procurement and contract management, preferably in the construction, infrastructure or engineering sectors
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contracting concepts, commercial and legal terms
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
