  • Assist with the delivery and administration of medication, as prescribed by medical professionals
  • Support residents with mobility assistance, in accordance with their individual care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health care documentation, as required
  • Encourage residents to participate in scheduled social activities, promoting a sense of community and belonging
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines and policies, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in aged care, although not essential, is highly regarded
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a tight-knit team, taking direction as required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding
  • Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts throughout the week, including weekends and public holidays
