We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant and Receptionist to join our dynamic and friendly team on a casual or permanent part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during procedures, including chair-side support and sterilization of instruments;
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments;
- Manage patient appointments, bookings, and recalls;
- Welcome patients and ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure;
- Handle patient inquiries and coordinate patient care;
- Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date;
- Manage payments and health fund claims.
- Availability on Mondays and Tuesdays is essential, with the possibility of additional shifts on Wednesdays and Thursdays;
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a dental assistant and/or dental receptionist is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A positive, friendly attitude with a strong focus on patient care;
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Proficiency in dental software (Oasis, Examine Pro) is a plus but not essential.
