Job Title: Senior Systems Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Architect to join our team at Whizdom Recruitment. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable hosting platforms that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain system engineering documentation, including system designs, maintenance plans, and configuration management plans.
  • Deploy hosting platforms in a scalable and sustainable manner, ensuring consistency in standards across the portfolio of platforms.
  • Patch and upgrade existing hosting platforms to improve security standards and provide new features to customers.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify business needs and provide architectural overviews, presentations, and responses to requested architectural advice.
  • Work with industry partners to guide and integrate external packages into the environment.
  • Conduct system monitoring and UAT testing to forecast expansion and provide forewarning or rapid response to system failures.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in deploying scalable hosting platforms.
  • Demonstrable experience in eliciting business needs from stakeholders.

Security Requirements: Candidates require an active PV clearance and must be willing to undergo pre-employment checks, including ID and work rights verification, security clearance verification, and any other client requested checks.
