Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture and design of Red Hat Infrastructure solutions to support enterprise-level projects.
  • Act as a senior technical adviser and subject matter expert, providing guidance to clients and project teams.
  • Develop high-level system architectures and work with implementation teams to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Drive the adoption of Red Hat technologies through customized presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to oversee the architectural aspects of deployment, integrating new technologies and ensuring the stability and scalability of solutions.
  • Lead technical discussions and workshops to improve system architectures and solve complex problems with innovative solutions.
  • Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and building a strong technical community.
  • Contribute to thought leadership by authoring white papers, delivering speeches, and participating in conferences focused on Red Hat Infrastructure technologies.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in systems architecture with a focus on Linux-based infrastructures.
  • Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ansible Automation, and Satellite.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies and modern authentication services such as IdM/IPA.
  • Strong understanding of Linux security practices and tools, with a capability to address sophisticated security requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale architecture projects from conception to completion.
  • Experience in scripting and automation using Python, Perl, or Shell scripts.
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification or higher preferred, or willingness to pursue certification within 90 days of commencing with Red Hat.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Australian Government security clearance at Negative Vet level (NV1)
  • The ability to work onsite for customers in Canberra
