Equity Settlements Associate Role

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking an experienced Equity Settlements Associate to join our client's Sydney team on a 5-month contract basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all Equity Settlement activities across the local market, including Listed Derivatives cash control and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile Client Asset accounts, including Trust accounts, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports, understanding the requirements of regulatory risk items.
  • Process Settlements and investigate fails to ensure timely and accurate trade settlement.
  • Process margin movements for Listed Derivatives and reconcile domestic stock positions.
  • Clear internal reconciliation breaks for both stock and cash on a daily basis.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • HSC (or equivalent) qualification.
  • 2-6 years' experience in equity settlements, preferably with a global investment bank.
  • Further education in a related financial discipline is an advantage.
