About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in North Sydney. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance: Assist customers with cleaning, laundry, and other domestic tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Personal Care: Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assistance with medication management and mobility.
  • Meal Preparation and Shopping: Assist customers with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring they have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Social Support and Transport: Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities, appointments, and other engagements.
  • Respite and Emotional Support: Offer respite and emotional support to customers, helping them to manage stress and maintain their mental well-being.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • Certifications: Current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • Availability: Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently, find solutions to everyday problems, and prioritize tasks effectively.
