Key Responsibilities:
  1. Apply nursing and midwifery clinical skills and contemporary knowledge to support optimal care outcomes.
  2. Cultivate meaningful partnerships with patients and their support network to ensure individual needs are met with compassion and understanding.
  3. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and craft personalized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes for each patient.
  4. Undertake comprehensive discharge planning to ensure patients and their support persons are provided with adequate support.
  5. Offer support and guidance to colleagues and nursing students, drawing upon your wealth of experience and knowledge to foster growth and excellence within the team.
Requirements
  • Holds current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
  • Possesses dual qualifications in general nursing and midwifery, showcasing a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Brings prior working experience relevant to patient-centred care environment/speciality commensurate with level of seniority required to meet the workforce needs.
  • Has a currency of life support skills applicable to patient-centred care environment/specialty.
  • Provides comprehensive care and support to women during the antenatal and postnatal periods.
