As a Casualty Underwriter, you will enhance the assigned portfolio through effective strategies including comprehensive risk evaluations, portfolio assessments, business development, strategic underwriting practices, relationship management, and ongoing professional growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Risk Evaluation: Perform in-depth risk evaluations of potential clients and policies to ensure profitable business acquisition. Underwriting Strategy: Formulate a strategic underwriting plan that balances risk management with profitability. Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with brokers, clients, and other stakeholders to build loyalty and trust. Qualifications and Skills Required
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as business or finance. Advanced certifications or courses related to underwriting are advantageous. Experience: Proven experience in the insurance industry, particularly in liability underwriting. Demonstrated success in business development and underwriting roles. Familiarity with underwriting processes, risk evaluation, and policy analysis. Skills: Strong analytical abilities, excellent communication and negotiation skills, a collaborative work approach, and proficiency in underwriting tools and industry software.About AXA Group
