CHEP, a global leader in supply chain logistics, is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. This role will provide vital support and leadership to our Supply Chain Operations team, supervising two staff members and managing customer-facing responsibilities.

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in administration and supervision to oversee the Oxley plant's administrative functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing data analysis support to the Service Centre Manager, coordinating financial information related to plant hire equipment and inventory, and managing staff timesheets and payroll data entry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide administrative leadership for the Oxley plant
  • Assist the Service Centre Manager with data analysis for budget management
  • Coordinate financial information related to plant hire equipment and inventory
  • Manage staff timesheets and ensure accurate payroll data entry
  • Oversee purchasing of stationery, PPE, and uniforms
  • Support the safety and environmental management systems
  • Manage accounts payable and inventory reconciliation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in administration and some experience supervising a small team
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of safety management systems is a plus

Salary Estimate:

The estimated salary for this role is between $70,000 and $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
