As part of our expanding operations in Croydon, VIC, we are seeking an experienced and reliable Storeperson to join our warehouse team on a casual basis, working 20 hours per week across 5 days. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with excellent skills in forklift operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory, organize stock, and ensure efficient goods flow into and out of the warehouse.
  • Precisely prepare and dispatch orders, utilizing strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular stocktakes.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the production team to meet project timelines and deadlines.
  • Assist in other general warehouse duties as required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in a warehouse or storeman role, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Forklift license and at least 5 years of experience in forklift operation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems (an advantage).
  • Good physical condition, as the role involves manual handling.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical checks.
  • National Police Clearance.
