About the Role

This role leads the coordination of response and recovery activities for information security incidents with global visibility.

  • The team conducts follow-the-sun operations; the role involves mentoring and guiding associates while maintaining a strong investigative mindset and effective communication.

This executive position requires established experience handling information security events and incidents. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in operations-focused roles with an emphasis on cyber incident response.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Establish oversight of information security events and cyber incidents and communicate analysis, containment and remediation efforts to all business partners.
  2. Maintain cyber incident response and recovery plans; ensure timely management escalation with risk and action information.
  3. Brief and recommend actions to executive leadership regarding events and incidents.
Requirements
  • Proven experience handling information security events and incidents.
  • Experience in an operations-focused role with emphasis on cyber incident response.
  • Demonstrable experience coordinating containment activities related to cyber security incidents.
  • Familiarity with security vulnerabilities, exploits, and APT tools, techniques, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with network security vulnerabilities, exploits, malware, and digital forensics desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Decisive with the ability to make difficult decisions in high-pressure environments.
  • Independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and act without undue delay.
  • Security+ or equivalent certification.
  • GCIH or equivalent certification required within six months of employment.
Additional Details

This is a full-time position requiring strong organizational and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have a background in information technology and be able to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
