We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Delivery Specialist to join our team at Ultra Maritime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams;
  • Maintain a deep understanding of project scope, schedules, and budget requirements;
  • Analyse and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and costs;
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure seamless integration of services and products;
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and proposed solutions;
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness;
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in defence project management, preferably with an engineering development background;
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including PMBOK, Earned Value Management, and Risk Management;
  • Familiarity with Australian Defence Organisation (ADO) regulations and governance requirements;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions, building strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of MS Project or Open Plan Professional, with experience in developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS);
