Project Management Opportunity in the Water Sector

We are seeking an experienced Senior Water Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Water team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to enhance their career in the water sector, working on high-profile projects that make a positive impact on communities.

About the Role:

As a Senior Water Infrastructure Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex water infrastructure projects, ensuring accountability for business and project outcomes. You will work closely with other design organizations in Alliance or JV settings, manage the design team, and interface with contractor workforce.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy risk management principles and methodologies into project systems and processes.
  • Lead the delivery of high-quality design projects, ensuring accountability for business and project outcomes.
  • Work in partnership with other design organizations in Alliance or JV settings.
  • Manage the design team and interface with the contractor workforce.
  • Seek design team resources for each project, with the ultimate responsibility for providing resources lying with the business section executive.
  • Prepare design fee estimates for both the 'tender design phase' and the 'delivery phase' of each project.
  • Manage the overall delivery of designs to meet time, budget, and quality requirements.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • A recognized Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical (Process), or Electrical Engineering.
  • Relevant industry experience in the water, industrial or mining sector.
  • Demonstrated high level of technical knowledge.
  • Strong experience working in partnership with other design organizations in Alliance or JV settings.
  • Extensive experience in owning and being responsible for signing off on designs.
  • Proven competency in project management.
