Customer Service Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our customer service team as the Coordinator, Customer Service.
About the Role:- The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating our telephone and online reference service.
- They will lead a small team responsible for delivering reference services, providing support, guidance and training to Library staff.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to contribute ideas and participate in service improvement initiatives.
- Provide specialist expertise and technical knowledge across programs, activities and systems, including statistical and administrative reporting and service evaluation.
This role requires strong technical capabilities and transferrable skills are recognised. Knowledge and experience in the administration of discovery services or enquiry management systems is highly desirable.
As a member of Reader Services, you will support our reference services in the Reading Rooms and through online and phone reference channels. You will also be involved in developing Learning Programs and web content including Research Guides.
We encourage applicants with qualifications or equivalent experience in Information Management, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences or related fields.
This role includes regular evening and weekend work undertaken during our advertised reading room opening hours.
