About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in the MidCoast Region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to take on new challenges, work with cutting-edge technology, and contribute to diverse projects.

Salary Information

The successful candidate can expect a salary of $90,000 - $140,000 per annum + superannuation benefits.

About the Job

This role involves designing sub-division projects, conducting site visits, preparing design drawings, and providing guidance to junior engineers. As a consulting Civil Engineer, you will follow projects from conceptual stages to detailed construction approval, project management, and contract supervision.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing subdivision projects using advanced software
  • Conducting site visits to assess conditions and determine design parameters
  • Preparing and reviewing design drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Providing guidance to junior engineers and liaising with regulatory bodies
  • Attending site meetings and offering technical support to clients and contractors
Key Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in civil engineering, particularly in subdivision design
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience liaising with clients and stakeholders
  • Proficiency with design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar)
  • Experience with road, stormwater drainage, water, and sewer reticulation design for council approval
  • A diploma in civil engineering / design would also be acceptable provided you have the necessary experience and knowledge
