Art Teacher Position

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Art teacher to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Art and be able to deliver engaging lessons to students in Years 5 to 8.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To teach Art to Years 5 to 8 students, promoting creativity and self-expression.
  2. To implement evidence-based practices that actively engage students in their learning process.
  3. To utilise technology as a tool to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  4. To foster a safe, supportive and respectful classroom environment where students feel valued, respected and understood.
  5. To encourage collaboration amongst students and team members so we can create perseverance, critical thinking and creativity.
  6. To demonstrate a passion for learning and inquiry-based thinking.
  7. To continuously develop your own expertise throughout the use of data, ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
