Aged Care Industry Team Manager

As a highly skilled professional, you will lead and manage a team to ensure best practice is followed and compliant with required policies and procedures.
- Your role will involve managing employee performance issues, leading and promoting a safe work culture, and maintaining effective communication with the team.
- You will be responsible for ensuring new employees have been provided with adequate knowledge of their role and responsibilities, as well as managing and authorising weekly/fortnightly timesheets.
- A key aspect of this position is responding to employee and client queries to ensure consistent and effective outcomes for service delivery.
- You will also allocate suitable resources and implement support plans to ensure quality care is delivered, document, report and action hazards and incidents, and maintain the integrity of client documents and reports.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background within the Aged Care Industry and be able to demonstrate experience in leading a team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, decision making and problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated empathetic and flexible approach.
In terms of qualifications, a Certificate III in Community Support Services is desirable or minimum two years industry experience and a willingness to obtain Cert 3.
