Job Description

Sustainability is at the forefront of our efforts to create thriving communities, public spaces, and economies. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving ongoing sustainability monitoring and performance for our property portfolio.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver innovative projects that support NSW Government goals on Net Zero, circular economy, and sustainable development.
  • Provide guidance and set the plan for Property and Development NSW and other NSW Government agencies to achieve their Net Zero ambitions.
  • Support the identification, implementation, management, and review of programs and projects designed to assist PDNSW and its agency stakeholders to meet their obligations under the Net Zero Government Operations Policy (NZGO) and other relevant sustainability policies and frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or other relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation, particularly energy, water, waste, indoor environment, and circularity.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of Green Star, NABERS, and Climate Active certifications.
  • Knowledge and understanding of NABERS suite of certifications, GreenStar Buildings and Fit-outs / Interiors.
