We are seeking a dedicated and skilled educator to join our team as a Specialist in Inclusive Education. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • To teach in the Supported Learning Environment and provide high-quality instruction to students with intellectual and physical disability, autism, and complex learning profiles.
  • To design and implement differentiated learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting their academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • To create safe, inclusive, and engaging classrooms that foster positive relationships, wellbeing, and belonging among students.
  • To collaborate effectively with support staff, specialists, families, and community partners to maximize student outcomes.
  • To demonstrate a commitment to cultural responsiveness and inclusive practice, embedding cultural respect and community connections into teaching at Taree High School.
Requirements
  • A full approval to teach in the Supported Learning Environment is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing inclusive learning programs for students with diverse needs.
  • An understanding of Aboriginal education and the capacity to embed cultural respect and community connections into teaching.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
