Systems Engineering Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering innovative engineering and technology solutions to make lives safe, secure, sustainable, and affordable.

You will have the opportunity to work and deliver across a range of industries, projects, whilst regularly applying your experience and knowledge to new environments.

The Role

  • Providing systems and safety engineering expertise for nationally significant Defence projects.
  • Delivering systems engineering and safety assurance support for transport and infrastructure projects.
  • Digitising systems engineering processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Identifying and minimising technical risks to projects using proven Systems Engineering approaches throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Leading Verification and Validation efforts program across the project, ensuring user needs are captured and met through design and related activities.
  • Engagement and close coordination with project leadership and stakeholders to ensure technical compliance and support safety case submissions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Australian Citizenship and/or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence security clearance.
  • Bachelor of Engineering / Science Degree.
  • Experience within regulated industries / frameworks (Desirable).
  • Systems engineering knowledge and experience (Desirable).
  • System safety and assurance experience (Desirable).
