Secure Custody Professional

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Custody Officer in South Hedland. As a Custody Officer, you will play a vital part in creating a safe and secure environment for detainees.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the welfare needs of detainees are met while consistently upholding a professional and respectful demeanor.
- Safely transport and supervise detainees during critical activities.
- Participate in court activities for security requirements.
As a Custody Officer, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through our fully funded Certificate 3 in Correctional Services program. This will not only enhance your career prospects but also provide you with a sense of personal achievement and growth.
You will also receive paid training, which includes 6 weeks of fully paid learning and development. Following this, you will start at a salary of $27.35 per hour, increasing to $29.50 per hour after completing your training.
Benefits- A regional allowance of $10,189 per annum, spread over your fortnightly wage payments.

- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
- Availability to train full-time for 6 weeks in Perth.
- Commitment to a minimum of 12 months to obtain qualifications.
