Privacy Officer Role

About the Position:

  • This role is responsible for supporting the effective operation of the privacy team by performing administrative tasks.
  • The successful candidate will prepare advice for staff on privacy management and compliance, undertaking allocated activities within the department's privacy management plan to mature the department's practices.
  • They will support senior and principal officers with stakeholder engagement on privacy matters to ensure adequate protection of personal information.
  • Additionally, the Privacy Officer will review threshold privacy assessments with support from senior officers.

Key Responsibilities:
