Compliance Risk Specialist

The Compliance Risk Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that our organization's activities align with relevant legislation and policies. This specialist provides expert advice to various business units, ensuring that compliance risks are identified and mitigated.

This position requires a strong understanding of compliance risk and frameworks for businesses in regulated industries. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting business units in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, reviewing policies and procedures related to legislative requirements, and acting as the point of contact for compliance investigations.

To achieve our goals, the Compliance Risk Specialist will work closely with Legal, Risk, and various Product teams across our product lines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialized advice on compliance risk to business units
  • Completing oversight activities designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies
  • Supporting the design and execution of the compliance testing & monitoring plan
  • Interpreting legislation and regulatory guidance, assessing the impact, and developing practical operational guidance and support
  • Independently testing and validating the effectiveness of key controls
  • Preparing comprehensive reports for management, committees, and regulatory bodies

In terms of qualifications, we are seeking a professional with:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Compliance or Risk professional
  • Experience assisting business units in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of compliance risk and compliance frameworks for businesses in regulated industries
