Mental Health Service Provider

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Service Provider to join our dynamic clinical team. This role involves providing mental health services to consumers in the community, working with various age groups including young people, children and families, adults, and older people.
The successful candidate will be based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and work collaboratively with other stakeholders to provide short term mental health interventions in the community for consumers experiencing mental health distress.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mental health assessments to consumers within the community experiencing acute mental health problems and determining an appropriate pathway to care.
- Short term mental health treatment in the community, often as an alternative to hospital admission.
- Collaborative care for consumers transferring between hospital and community settings.
To succeed in this role, you will possess recognised nursing tertiary qualifications, current nursing registration with AHPRA, and a current NSW Drivers Licence. You should also demonstrate competencies to provide contemporary mental health practice.
