Business Tax Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Tax Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in tax planning, strategy, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and reorganisation.

The ideal candidate will have strong relationships with private business clients, understanding their unique tax needs and providing tailored advice. They will also innovate and streamline client's tax processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

The role will involve preparing and reviewing tax returns, advising clients on tax-efficient strategies, supporting clients through ATO review or audit programs, and staying updated with the latest tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure clients meet their tax obligations by preparing and reviewing tax returns
  • Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies to optimise their tax positions
  • Support clients through ATO review or audit programs
  • Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations
  • Mentor and support junior staff
  • Identify potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of private business clients
  • Innovate and streamline client's tax processes
  • Work closely with other departments to provide holistic solutions to clients
  • Help expand the firm's market presence by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Continuously develop your expertise and credentials
